Humans used in Experiments
HUMAN EXPERIMENTS: Usually for the purpose of testing chemicals, pollutants and prescription drugs. The following is only a fraction of experiments done from past to present:
April 4 2001 Elaine Holden-Able, a healthy retired nurse, consumed a glass of orange juice (mixed with a dietary supplement for the sake of medical research). Case Western University Alzheimer's experiment (financed by the tobacco industry). Wound up killing her in what was called a ''tragic human error.'' Federal Office of Human Research Protections did not interview hospital staff, mostly accepted hospital's internal report, imposed no penalty, and closed the case and did not mention the death in its letter of determination. http://ohrp.osophs.dhhs.gov/detrm_letrs/nov01f.pdf
Year 2001 Ellen Roche, a healthy 27-year old volunteer, dies in challenge study at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Year 2001 Babies and small children to lead poisoning in EPA funded experiment (Maryland, USA). http://www.courts.state.md.us/opinions/coa/2001/128a00.pdf
1993: Kathryn Hamilton dies 44 days after participating in breast cancer experiment at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.
1995: 19-year-old University of Rochester student Nicole Wan dies after being paid $150 to participate in MIT-sponsored experiment to test airborne pollutant chemicals.
1845-1849: J. Marion Sims, "the father of gynecology" performed multiple experimental surgeries on enslaved African women without the benefit of anesthesia. After suffering unimaginable pain, many lost their lives to infection. One woman was made to endure 34 experimental operations for a prolapsed uterus. http://www.coax.net/people/lwf/jm_sims.htm
1978: Experimental Hepatitis B vaccine trials, conducted by the CDC, begin in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Ads for research subjects specifically ask for promiscuous homosexual men.
1981: Leonard Whitlock suffers permanent brain damage after deep diving experiment at Duke University.
Year 2003 SINGAPORE A childhood friend of mine returned to Singapore (from KL where he was studying film animation). For a few years he thought it was just gastric. Turned out he had stomach cancer. He voluntarily gave himself as a cancer research guinea pig. He died within 2.5 years of experimental chemotherapy. He was just 25 years old. He was not a pauper who needed money badly - he thought he was doing good for the pharmaceutical companies and other patients like himself. Kelly, http://www.twitter.com/qutequte
Currently the poor in 3rd-world countries are told they can get out of any experimental program they wanted. But the truth is, they find themselves trapped in forced experiments when they wanted to get out half-way through the experiments.
Not only are animals suffering for the "good of medicine", humans have died/suffered. People are still asking,"What have they died for? Have they found a miracle pill in medicines?"
"What you see with vaccines today is a cult-like worship of vaccines that despises scrutiny or even solid science. Vaccines are good because they tell us so, and that should be sufficient reason, we’re told." - Mike Adams (@HealthRanger)
