Life is so busy, isn't it! Everyone has a "business" or a job, or...we wish we did. We are a bit schizophrenic about it. People are expected to be busy for much of the time and yet the busier we become the less we have time for each other, or even for looking after ourselves properly. Cooking takes time, cleaning takes time, travelling to work takes time.
For a time I was so busy at work that I felt it was not possible to stop for lunch, there was too much to do. Now I do stop even if I am really busy and perhaps especially then. Because I need to refocus mentally and just slow down. We need to take the time to "process" our lives, otherwise we just skim along the surface and are so busy with getting to the destination that we don't enjoy the journey. This is a place where I write more about this.Heal Your Mind Time
I am so glad that Carl Honore wrote the book "Slow." Living life at a frenetic pace takes the joy out of it, the joy of doing things well. We are not meant to live at the gallop the whole time. This is crazy. Keep it simple and keep it slow, relish the moments as they come and go. Then you will know you are blessed and you are a blessing.

still a "natural" community of people who have lived in the area for many years. Somehow we need to take forward tthe great features of those village or rural communities and re-create them in cities...so that we have the best of both worlds. And just a few miles down the road my brother and sister-in-law have the lovely Downhill Hostel which is on right on the coast. The views are stunning!. I know that a sense of wellbeing comes from within, but outer peace and beauty also feed the spirit especially after weeks of being in the great urban sprawl of London!

confirmation email not say something about this? Still good practice in being grateful, that I can put this out there!!! Be careful, you have to check in up to 4 hours before the flight or they will charge this exorbitant "Reissue" penalty. Customer Disservice!
Life is fascinating and I am interested in many very different things. So don't be surprised to get tweets about everything from internet marketing to interfaith ministry. I know all the theory about staying on a particular track so that you are interesting to someone. But I have this maverick tendency that says to itself, I don't want to be shoved into any box, however big or comfortable.I find it hard to express what I am about without sounding rather pompous, but it is about connection, valuing myself and others, being free! but also, softness, gentleness, kindness...these things are in short supply it sometimes seems. I also have a good laugh at myself sometimes! And I have a more practical streak, and will promote services and products, maybe good causes, interesting quirky or useful websites. I would love to hear about you or will look at your profile and just get to know you that way. Thank you for visiting, enjoy your day today.
