Those folks who pre-ordered their iPads might be getting them early. I ordered mine on March 12th and got an notification from Apple today that my iPad has shipped out directly from Shenzhen China
With the 2009 regular season completed, the FWAA, in conjunction with the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, has tabbed the following coaches as finalists: Texas' Mack Brown, Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson, Cincinnati's Brian Kelly, Oregon's Chip Kelly, TCU's Gary Patterson, Boise State's Chris Petersen and Alabama's Nick Saban. After a wild weekend of college football, we sat down and updated our Top 100 Prospects for the 2010 NFL Draft. Well known, highly successful players like Clemson's RB CJ Spiller were obviously raised up the draft board, but not so well known players like Arizona CB Devin Ross and Grambling DE Christian Anthony also made an appearance in our top 100. Check back often on our Risers and Fallers column to see which players are moving on the big board.
A successful pass rush is one of the primary components of victory in football. The 2010 NFL Draft will include some fantastic pass rushers and teams looking for that game changing pass rusher will be in luck. There is a new crop of pass rushing outside linebackers perfectly suited to play linebacker in a 34 type defense. Look for four or five of these prototype players to be drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Tonight QB Jevan Snead will try to prove he is a first round prospect for the 2010 NFL Draft when his 4th ranked Ole Miss squad goes up against LB Eric Norwood and the South Carolina Gamecocks. This weekend there will be some other excellent College Football Match-ups, read more to find out.
The Chicago Bears, fresh off of a heartbreaking loss against division rival Green Bay, hosted the 2008 World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers in their first home game of the season and won 17-14. Read the full Chicago Bears article here>>
After three games we can see some pro prospects that are seemingly rising on many draft boards. I highlighted a few players in my Pro Prospect Risers and Fallers column yesterday. Now I want to highlight a few other players.
Texas DE/OLB Sergio Kindle is playing very well and is a fearsome pass rusher. He made some big plays against Texas Tech.
Defensive back Bruce Carter from Florida is proving to be very difficult to pass on. He is a shut down corner.
The North Carolina Tarheels have a pair of blue chip linebackers in Bruce Carter and Quan Sturdivant. Those two players make the Tarheels tough to run against and they aren't to shabby in coverage either.
This is fun, I am going to do this every week, so check back often and if you know of any other college football pro prospects that are playing well let me know.
Questions and answers with a prominent doctor:
Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise.
Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer;
that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster.
Want to live longer? Take a nap.
Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn.
And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient
mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken.
Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable).
And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine,
that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more
of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one.
If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! ..... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil.
In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger.
You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans ! Another vegetable!!!
It's the best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!
Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
And remember:
'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
And finally……..
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health.
It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like.
Apparently speaking English is what kills you.
It's almost time to get ready for your Fantasy Football Drafts. So let's discuss the top ten players for 2009. Here is my top 10:
1. QB Tom Brady, Patriots: He might be rusty at first, but he is still Tom Brady and he has a lot of weapons arond him.
2. QB Peyton Manning, Colts: Look for Manning to bounce back with a great year even without Marvin Harrison. An improved running game (Donald Brown) and defense should help.
3. QB Drew Brees, Saints: One of the most accurate passers in the league. Coach Sean Payton loves to throw the pig skin around.
4. RB Adrian Peterson, Vikings: One of the most physically talented running backs to ever suite up in the NFL, he just has to stay healthy and the Vikings need a better passing game.
5. WR Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals: Big, strong, fast and hands of glue. Fitz was by the far the best receiver in 2008 and he is still young and improving.
6. WR Andre Johnson, Texas: The go-to man for the Texans. Johnson has all the skill in the world and if he was on a better offensive team would be putting up mind boggling numbers.
7. TE Jason Witten, Cowboys: With TO gone Romo will be looking for Witten even more in 2009. If WR Roy Williams develops then Witten should see more single coverage.
8. TE Tony Gonsalez, Falcons: QB Matt Ryan is amazing and Gonzo will likely make the Chiefs wish they would have kept him.
9. RB Donald Brown, Colts: I know he is young (rookie) and unproven, but he is in a great position to win the starting job and emerge as the offensive rookie of the year.
10. RB Marion Barber/Felix Jones, Cowboys: I know it's unfair to list two players at the 10 spot, but depending on which of these two guys stays healthy, at least one of them might put up some fantastic fantasy numbers. The thunder and lightening of 2009, Barber with the power and Jones with the speed.
* So here you have it, now tell me who your top ten Fantasy Football players are?
