Foster mom's dream come true! (email update from adoptive parents of blind puppy)

If you've ever fostered an animal that went out for adoption, you'll appreciate the value of emails like this from newly adoptive parents!  This came from a couple who adopted one of the blind pit bull puppies I helped foster this summer:

(hope you enjoy it as much as I am!)

"Hello!

Bella has been doing wonderfully. This last week in a half has been a busy one for her. The first couple of days were spent getting to know her brothers and sister and finding her way around her new home. She is a very smart girl and it was just a matter of time for her to get comfortable
and familiar with her new family and home. Pedro and Lolita adore her.

Surprisingly Lolita has been doing well with Bella. Both Pedro and Lolita have figured out that something is different about Bella. Rather then get annoyed or bothered by her periodic bumps or paws to the face they have welcomed her and enjoyed her sweet nature. When off leash at a huge field by our house, Pedro and Lolita have figured out when Bella is in her play mode,
if they stand still when she gets close Bella will not run into them (Bella can hear their tags and gets super excited when they are close). It is the funniest thing!

Walks have been going well. We wear cat collars with bells to help Bella differentiate between us and the Chihuahuas.

I have recorded Bella's experiences thus far on a calendar and wanted to share them with you. Am also attaching some random pics of Bella I have taken over the last week.

8-31 Vet Appointment

Bella meets her new vet and gets a puppy wellness plan. Vet recommended for us to take Bella to see an animal eye specialist. We will be setting up an appointment next week and will keep you all updated.  Took Bella to soccer training to meet and play with the girls. The girls adored her! Bella was in heaven with all the attention and little voices saying, "oh Bella you are so cute", "we love you Bella", etc, etc.

9-1 Daycare
Bella had her first day at daycare. She made friends with a Doxan who she played chase with and took a nap with. The owner offered Bella a free pass for the entire month to come as much as she would like. The staff loved her and put a litte pink bow around her collar that she still has on today.

9-2 Spa Day
Did great! All of the groomers took turns holding her because she was so sweet. She received a bath, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail clipping, and coat brushing.   Likes to play and pounce on our arms. Have been working on "No Bite" when she tries to have a little nibble on the arms/hands. Is getting better.

9-3 Walk
Bella made a new friend on one of her walks today.. a bulldog name Carlos.  She was submissive to him but enjoyed herself nonetheless. With a Chihuahua brother and sister it is quite exciting for her to be with a dog closer to her size.

9-4 Daycare
Bella did awesome at daycare again. Hung out and played with a mixed poodle.  Was exhausted after daycare and took a long nap after. On the way home I was rear-ended but thankfully Bella was wearing her doggy seat-belt and was not even phased by the hit.

9-5 Bella Soccer Game
Took Bella to Gabe's soccer game. Talked to about 8 people about her history and rescue. Everyone complimented on her sweet disposition and what beautiful markings she had. She played with a bunch of kids who were attracted by her puppy status. They were so sad when I told them she was blind. A couple of them even got a little emotional about it! I reassured
them that she was very happy and makes up for her sight by using her nose and listening really well.

9-6 Bella off leash
First time we took Bella off leash at an elementary school field. She loved all the open space. She ran around the field in circles and chased after Pedro and Lolita. This is when Pedro and Lolita learned to be very still when Bella started running towards them. Hilarious!!

9-7 Bella Soccer Game
Took Bella to another soccer game. She found two play-mates to pounce with.  One was a 3 month cattle dog named Jess and another was a 6 month old boxer named Jasmine. Jess was submissive to Bella while Bella was submissive to Jasmine. Super funny to watch Bella's interaction with these dogs. She gets so excited to play.  Had about 4-5 people come up to us and compliment how beautiful she was.

9-9 Bella Daycare
Had another great day at Day Care today. The staff enjoy her so much, they are sad to see her go. They always ask when she will be coming back.

I know this was a lot but I wanted to share everything with you all. I will give you'll an update every week with her activities and progress. We love her so much and are grateful to have her in our lives and be part of our family."

Jeannette again: Now THAT'S my idea of a great home!  Not sure it gets any better than that.  :)  (But Universe keeps proving that it does indeed get better.)  Thank you, Universe, for taking such great care of these sweet animals!

@kendrathornbury Universe must have been listening to us yesterday! (all feelings have their place)

Resentment, anger, and impatience all have their place. Actually, they're absolutely priceless, revealing to those who feel them that there are still a few pieces of life's puzzle they've overlooked.

How to tell the future: (TUT Note)

 LOVED today's TUT note:

Sometimes, even for me, predictions are tricky business. Really tricky.

But I have discovered that one of the very best ways of forecasting the future comes from listening to what people tell themselves, and their closest friends, in casual, conversational tones.

How dreams and passions reverse premature aging (Marcia Wieder quoting Dr. Oz):

When the brain believes it's outgrown its usefulness, which can happen at any age, the brain sends a message to the body that it's no longer needed and people start to mentally and physicall self destruct.  (It's called apoptosis in the medical community.)  We see it most often when people retire, get laid off, experience an empty nest, or when we don't have dreams that we're passionate about.

The brain sends a message to the body that says "all done, don't need you any more" and people start to prematurely age.  So the cure for this is passion and dreams.  Do more of what you love.  The secret to living a joyful fulfilling life is to do more of what you love every day.

Using the Focus Wheel to Get in the Vortex (Abraham quote):

Great question from Abraham workshop guest on getting in the vortex:

Can I get in the Vortex at will? Can I get in there any time I want?

Abe: You can't just jump in the Vortex.  You can't just, you can't just from wherever you are jump
in.  You have to warm up to in.

In other words, we'd say if you are really out of the Vortex, it might take you ah, ten or fifteen minutes to get in, ten or fifteen minutes of doing the right thing.  So, what's, what's the first step? If you are really out of the Vortex, what's the first step of getting in?

Acknowledge that I'm out and that it's okay that I'm out and that since I've been out here I've been asking in a stronger way.

So there is a stronger solution pulsing for me that was pulsing before so, good for me I am fulfilling my reason for being.  I'm sifting through contrast and I have just given myself a new more profound, more define, more enhanced, more exaggerated, mission and now my Vortex is swirling in a stronger faster way but I'm not in there but it's alright because I've just taken a step one experience.

So, sort of making peace with where I am then the next step to getting in the Vortex we think the focus wheel is the best next step because what it does, it acknowledges, I know what I don't want but I'm not in the vibration of what I do want and by making the statement in the center of where I want to be. I can feel that I'm not there.  It's just words.  I'm just writing it down.  This I want but I'm not there.  And then when I make the effort to get on the board, that's on the wheel, that's the, that's the first step and it is the biggest step and it's the hardest step cause I'm not in the Vortex and I'm not even on the focus wheel.

The focus wheel is just a means to get in the Vortex but I'm not, I'm not there yet but there is something in me somewhere that does vibrationally match where I want to be at the end of this wheel and so I'm just going to stay there until I find it.  And that's where most of the fifteen minutes goes.  It's just finding a way to get on the wheel, no that didn't do it, no that didn't do it, no that didn't do it, ah, that felt pretty good.

I can work with that and then off you go to the next, and to the next.

So, once you make your way around the wheel and we did that a couple of times already here today.  You can feel the energy moving and then once you've completed the wheel, and, and you're ready to make your affirmative statement that, that matches what was in the center of the wheel where what I was reaching for I now feel.

Now go immediately into a list of positive aspects about that subject.  And you'll find it really easy to list because you're, you're on the wheel now and it will flow for, it will flow from you.  So, as you make a list of positive aspects they'll just start coming.

Jerry and Esther are just laughing as they feel the energy lifting and the words that are coming out of them.  It is, it is a marvelous experience as you make your list of positive aspects and then right into a rampage of appreciation.

And the rampage of appreciation, just spread your wings and fly all around. It doesn't matter, include it all.

Esther will say, I love these gardens!  I love my fountain!  I love that little frog who waits for me every morning to come up out of the fountain and say hello to me!

I love this view!  I love this planet!  I love the rain today!  I love th. ah whatever it is.  There is so much for you to appreciate everywhere you are no matter where you are!  I am loving this!  I love this!  I love this and then you just, you're in the Vortex!

Once you're in, you're in the Vortex, you're in the Vortex long before you went through that long rampage but the rampage holds you in the Vortex!  It, it let's you feel what it feels like to be in the Vortex!

I love my body!  I love my job!  I love physicality!  I love that we are extensions of Source Energy!  I love the human body!  I love the evolution of it!  I love the way it works!  I love the magic of it!  I love the power of it!  I love the flexibility and stability of it!  I love the, I love the stability of the human body!  I love how it maintains even with all kinds of resistance going on!  I love how responsive it is to alignment!

I love being in this work where I get to bring people into alignment!  I love getting into alignment!  I love being in alignment!  I love not being in alignment cause I know how to get into alignment!  I love people not being in alignment!  I love them knowing that they're not in alignment!  I like coaching them into alignment!  I loooooove this world!  I love my work!  I love medicine!  I love physicality!  I love Source Energy!  I love being alive!  I love my eternalness!  I love this planet, whew!  I like this muffin!  (Guest: laughter) I love these carbohydrates (Guest: more big laughter) that give me energy and my body burns fuel from and gives me benefit!  In other words, (timer going off) we love your timer!  (audience laughter)

Good time for a segment of lunch.
(Audience applause)

"Those numbers don't mean anything." Master manifesting at the vet's office:

Now this is cool manifesting (in my opinion):

Monday afternoon my ex boyfriend, Verrall, came over to show me one of the blind pit bull puppies I had helped him foster last month.  (This 11 week old guy had surgery the week prior to have his eyes removed and was going in for a checkup - he's doing great!  Fat, happy, having fun!)

But in the truck with him Verrall also had a 12 year old Great Pyrenese male who was relinquished at the shelter a few weeks ago and scheduled for euthanization.  Blind dogs, old dogs, big dogs - my ex has a soft spot for all of 'em.

So my ex is hauling him around trying to find a foster home for him.

Anyway, I noticed the Great Pyr was not breathing right.  I told my ex he should have him checked out at the vet.  He said, "no, it's just a bad case of kennel cough."

I called him later in the day (listening to intuition) and insisted he have that dog checked out at our vet's office.

He called that same night to say it was a good call on my part to insist on a vet visit - the old guy has advanced pneumonia.

"This is the stage where it doesn't get any worse," the vet said to my ex.  "Treat him anyway," Verrall instructed.  (He knows I've got good credit and a soft spot for big old dogs, too - ha.)

Blood work revealed a high white cell count - 36,000.  (Normal is more like 12,000.)  But other than that, they said, for being old, he looked pretty good.

So they kept him overnight.  Started him on antibiotics for pneumonia.

My ex talked about how he's working on getting everyone in the vet's office on board that this dog is going to recover.  Because right now, he and I were the only ones believing it.

Next day the blood work shows an even higher white cell count - 47,000.   This is where most people would say don't throw your money away, don't make the guy suffer, do the right thing.

My ex and I agree we're not letting a couple of stupid numbers cause us to give up on this dog.  (And we're the folks who just lost an 8 week old foster kitty to pneumonia a month ago - so it's kind of a sensitive subject for us.)

"Those numbers don't mean ANYTHING," I reiterate to my ex before we hang up.  Because he's the one who's been having to talk to the vet who thinks we're really wasting our time here.  So I wanted to get HIM on board that this dog's white cell count isn't going to matter.  He'll get better despite it.

Next day another blood check shows it's gotten even WORSE.  The white cell count is now 56,000.

"How does he seem to you otherwise?" I ask.  Verrall says he seems great.  I mean, for a sick dog.  His attitude is good, he wags his tail, he's starting to eat again.

"Well, then those numbers don't mean anything.  Carry on."  I don't ask what our bill is getting to be.  That is also not worth worrying about.

So now it's Thursday and they run the blood work again.  Only this time they sent the blood work out for processing.  I don't know why they sent the blood work out of house this time, but they did.

And it came back at 29,000.

Ha!

The outsourced blood folks thinks the vet's in-house machine is screwed up.  Because 12 year old dogs with pnuemonia don't make turnarounds like that.  So it must be a problem with the blood machine thingy.

That's what they think.

Little do they know it's because Verrall and I have been knowing those numbers don't mean anything.  hee hee

And I'm expecting the same kind of magic to happen with our bill, too.

So now it's time to manifest a foster home for the guy!!

Gosh this creating your own reality stuff is fun!  lol

PS - I forgot the best part!  My ex said he was manifesting the numbers came back today under 30!!!  ROFL

What you want is already done! (Abe on vibrational marketing):

"What you want is already done! It's not missing. You are not in the process
of creating it now, it's already been created. .

The marketing campaign that you are launching is not to attract the millions
to your product, they've already been attracted. The marketing campaign you
are launching is to attract YOU there. And the way you do that is by talking
about the beauty of it, talking about how wondrous it is, talking about how
good it feels, lining up with it, pretending it's already done.

The universe doesn't know if the vibration you offer is because you are
imagining it or you're living it. It just responds to the vibration of it."

Brilliant, civilization-changing ideas are a dime a dozen, Jeannette. Physically taking action to implement them, however, beginning with baby steps that seem to accomplish very little, is what gets the crowds here screaming like raving lunatics.
