Oh, I do hope not! Anyway, I was still looking for Easter Baskets for the wee ones. So, today I googled "easter baskets for kids" and was taken to one of my favorite sites for this time of year. There it was! "My First Easter" Isn't this the cutest thing? And, the most appropriate for a first Easter? That magic bunny is getting smarter.

Now that I'm a grandmother I guess I am thinking ahead to the next holiday. I suppose the next real holiday is Easter. I found a great site today called Easter Baskets for Kids. One idea is to make an Easter bucket! Who would have thought of that?
But the best idea was to put fruit, well disguised, in the Easter basket. Guess I will be heading to the kitchen the night before Easter.

I have been hearing a lot about hotel bedding. I'm guessing it is a new style. There was something that sounded remarkably uninteresting about having bedding in the house that reminded me of staying in a hotel until I saw this king size black and white comforter. I really like the clean lines but I'm wondering if it looks too much like a real hotel.

I haven't looked at daybed covers in a long time. But, recently one of the neighborhood kids came by to ask about buying a bed for his new apartment. I suggested a daybed because he is sharing a small apartment with another student. Well, I don't know if I answered all his questions but look what I ordered for myself! Check the links for two great websites.

One of the most uncomfortable dining chairs I have ever had the discomfort to sit on was the Jacobean style chair. They are square and usually very hard without much padding, if any at all. Thank goodness someone agrees with me!

Wedding umbrellas seem to be the big thing this year for outdoor weddings. I'm wondering if an umbrella with the bride and groom's names and wedding date would be a good wedding gift for the bridal party. Perhaps. But, wouldn't it be more useful in the future without the names and date?

Brrrrr... It's cold outside today. Looking forward to spring so started looking for cold frame ideas. In a month it will be time to plant those seeds. Found a great site, Eating the Backyard that has videos and information galore on how to plant a vegetable garden.
Look for new ideas on cold frames for getting started.
Still haven't touched him, but I guess he got cold enough to slip inside today. (Read about Oliver on The Gratitude Journal.)

I guess there is little doubt that with a name like "Perretti" we make all our pasta at home. There are a couple of things I want to say about that. First of all, it takes time. Second, it may be some of the best family time you can create.
I bring this us because I am thinking of giving my two daughters-in-law pasta machines for Christmas. So, I'm a little prejudiced. I love the Imperia brand. (Can I say that?) Anyway, like most of us I have found that shopping online is a better experience than going to the store, especially if you live in a small town. While searching for a good Imperia pasta maker I found the perfect gift package --- the Imperia IPasta Pasta Factory.
Okay, so anyone who loves pasta as much as we do at my house, you will want to add to the Pasta Factory. But, as a great starter gift that has all the essentials for under $200.00 it cannot be beat.
Check out this video. Doesn't it look like fun for the entire family?
Even with tough economic times across our country, there are still many who have even less. One of the best ways to help those who need it is to purchase Fair Trade products. The cost may be only a few pennies more but who not do something to help someone else during this holiday season?
Even if you aren't buying, click the link to learn more about helping others through the purchase of Fair Trade products.
