The NFL Draft Site Updated it's 2009 NFL Mock Draft

A pretty crafty fella named Harry Doyle (used to be called CJ) has been updating the NFL Draft Site's 2009 Mock Draft all year and has been doing a bang up job. Harry doesn't put out the run of the mill mock draft like a lot of the copy cat/ carbon copy mocks. He always throws in a suprise pick or two.

I was tracking pretty good until I saw OLB/DE Aaron Maybin at #11 to the Buffalo Bills. Maybin is only a sophomore, he played defensive end at Penn State, but at 6' 4" 240 pounds will be converted to linebacker in the NFL. The only problem is he might not be fast enough to play linebacker. Out of all the sure fire first rounders entering the combine, Maybin is the guy to me that might slip into the 2nd round.

The other shocker was the18th pick to the Bears. I don't rate  Kansas State's QB Josh Freeman as even close to a first rounder. This junior is inexperienced, inconsistent and slow of foot, he ran a 4.99 forty at the combine. I predict he will be a third or  fourth rounder.......but, you never know. I don't see him that much different than the Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell when he came out. both were tall juniors with monster arms.

But all in all it is a great 2009 Mock NFL Draft and if you have any comments please send him an email and/or comment below.
