Liver in the Lab and Crystal Ball Calculus:
Divination’s Sexy Science
(or Creationism Liberated Curriculum) Please Retweet
Enough of this narrow so-called scientific process:
Evolution’s clearly just one way to explain things.
Totally ignoring divination’s primeval learnings
Limits children’s understanding and wisdom access.
A simple cursory glance of each archaic term
Reveals a rich and learned vocabulary treasure:
From necromancy to extispicy, beyond measure
These subjects the acumen of ancient lore affirm.
The Ouija board séances and well read tauromancies
Astound and shakeup teenager’s boring science classes.
Can chemistry elements and dull physics masses
Compete with crystal balls and necromancies?
Straight-laced scientists with academic bias, listen:
With liberal minds be haruspex, see the liver glisten.
Necromancy is a form of divination in which the practitioner seeks to summon the dead, or spirits/souls of the dead/recently dead "operative spirits" or "spirits of divination", for multiple reasons, from spiritual protection to wisdom.
Extispicy is the practice of using anomalies in animal entrails to predict divine future events
A Ouija board is any flat board with letters, numbers, and other symbols, used to supposedly communicate with spirits. It uses a planchette or movable indicator to indicate the message by spelling it out on the board during a séance.
Taromancy: a form of cartomancy using tarot cards.
A Haruspex was a man trained to practice a form of divination examining the livers of sacrificed animals.
