Just saw this tweet: "Success is like wrestling a gorilla. You don’t quit when you’re tired, you quit when the gorilla is tired." ~ Robert Strauss
And I thought if success is like wrestling gorillas, I'd rather not. I'll skip success if that's what it means.
Luckily, I know it doesn't have to be that. And I invite you to remember that, too. Unless, of course - and I know you're out there - you genuinely like wrestling gorillas to exhaustion. tee hee
Having said that, it IS a clever quote and I know it reflects an extremely common perspective. It's just one I'm not buying into.
